Chicago Bears tight end Kellen Davis (87) drops a pass in the second quarter at Soldier Field in Chicago on Sunday, November 11, 2012. (Chris Sweda/ Chicago Tribune)
The Bears’ offense flat out stunk on Sunday night. The Texans’ offense played the way the Bears typically do to win 13-6.
RB Matt Forte was completely shut down adding just 39 yards on 16 carries. His longest run was eight yards and he tripped on the poor field conditions on that play.
He had a big drop on a nice pass from backup QB Jason Campbell late in the fourth quarter.
The Bears tried to established the run, but really couldn’t. Michael Bush added some nice runs in the game.
His first run came on a fourth-and-one in the first quarter which he picked up, but then fumbled the ball away. The Bears turned the ball over four times compared to the Texans who had two turnovers.
Bush later broke off a 20 yard run in the fourth quarter, but the Bears went away from the run despite the success with him in the backfield.

Jay Cutler is concussed and will miss the second half against the Texans; but the diagnosis comes late
Jay Cutler left the game against Houston at halftime having also been diagnosed with a concussion, but, for me the issue poses a bigger question than whether or not Jason Campbell can do enough to lead the Bears to victory (I'd suggest it just got quite a bit harder for them). The question is why wasn't a concussion test administered on Cutler before he went to the locker...

Matt Forte Says Bears Runs Were Often "Obvious"
Bears running back Matt Forte, who averaged a dismal 2.4 yards per run Sunday, credited the Houston Texans defense for his forgettable night.
But he felt the Bears also made it easier on the Texans.
"It's kind of like we ran the ball at the time when it was kind of like obvious we were going to run the ball," Forte said. "Plus, it was a sloppy game.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Bears star cornerback Charles Tillman is active for Sunday's game against Houston, while Texans tight end Owen Daniels is out because of a back injury.

Don’t become a prisoner of the moment and scoff at the title of this article simply due to the fact the Bears lost to the Texans this past weekend. Lovie Smith has proven to be one of the best coaches in Bear’s franchise history, and he deserves to be rewarded with a long term contract before his current...
Zeoli's Bears vs. Texans Game Preview
