Fox Sports Wisconsin:
GREEN BAY, Wis. The war of words between the Packers and Bears leading into their Sunday matchup continues to escalate.
One day after Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley said that Chicago linebacker Brian Urlacher is "playing a little slow" and that the Bears aren't "losing too much" if the 13-year veteran is not on the field, Urlacher's teammates defended the future Hall of Famer.
"He's an idiot," Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said of Finley to the Chicago Sun-Times. "Just suit up and play ball. His comments aren't going to change the outcome of the game, they're not going to help him or anybody else play better. Doesn't really matter."
Urlacher has a hamstring injury that will likely keep him out the remainder of the regular season.
Finley wasn't available for comment Thursday, but he did post a follow-up message on his Twitter account about Urlacher.
"Urlacher is a hall of fame player and person,&quo...
BEST OF MAXIM
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers tight end Jermichael Finley apparently hasn't been very impressed with the recent play of Chicago Bears future Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher.
With NFC North rivals Green Bay and Chicago preparing for their 186th matchup on Sunday, Urlacher has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. In Finley's view, Urlacher's absence might make...
Earlier this week, Green Bay Packer tight end Jermichael Finley came out and said the Bears are a better team without linebacker Brian Urlacher on the field.
Bears linebacker Lance Briggs came to the defense of Urlacher, but Urlacher also decided to fire back at Finley.
“Just like a couple of years ago, I think, he tore his ACL and the Packers were actually better without him,”...
STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES
Lance Briggs apparently does not agree with Packers tight end Jermichael Finley's assertion that the Bears defense is better off without the injured Brian Urlacher.
When the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers Sunday with the NFC North on the line, linebacker Brian Urlacher will not be playing. The 13-year veteran hurt his hamstring during a Week 13 loss to Seattle, and he is likely to miss the team’s next few games.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers enjoys competing against the best players, so he said he was disappointed Urlacher would...
While the Chicago Bears have already listed linebacker Brian
Urlacher and cornerback Tim Jennings as out for tomorrow’s pivotal matchup
against the Green Bay Packers, the team could also be without defensive linemen
Henry Melton and Shea McClellin.
Urlacher (hamstring) and Jennings (shoulder) missed the
entire week of practice and have been ruled out for the Packers game...
A day after Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley said that Chicago better without Brian Urlacher members of Bears defense responded.
“Just like a couple of years ago, I think, he (Finley) tore his ACL and the Packers were actually better without him. You know, they won the Super Bowl,” Urlacher told SiriusXM NFL Radio. “I hope we can duplicate that as well because...
Every year a football team loses a valuable player/leader during the regular season. This has happened to the Bears two years in a row. In 2011, the Bears lost their starting quarterback, Jay Cutler, to a season ending injury. This season, the Bears have lost their starting middle linebacker, Brian Urlacher, possibly for the reminder of the regular season. Neither Jay Cutler or...
Idiot Noun A stupid person. A mentally handicapped person. This has become a term this week being used by NFL players. The most recent occurence happened in the lead up to this weekends clash between division rivals, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. Jermichael Finley made some odd comment about how the Bears [...]
This here folks is a PACKER HOMER WEBSITE. (Although Stevegoat has that love/hate thing going.)
But we do call em as we see em. Brandon Marshall and Jer-Fich have been running their mouth all week. Marshall seeks revenge or some ********. Finley says the Bears are better without Urlacher. So Urlacher zings the below. Well played Brian. I like that guy. Yeah, I just...
Lance Briggs heats up the feud between Chicago and Green Bay with some harsh comments today for Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, who said the Bears are better off without Brian Urlacher.
