Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan isn’t sure at this point whether or not he’ll be back in Nashville next season,  since his contract is up and he’ll be an unrestricted free agent in March. The Titans recently made some front office changes by promoting general manager Mike Reinfeldt to senior executive vice president and promoting Ruston Webster to general manager.  Lake Dawson has replaced Webster as vice president of player personnel. Finnegan hasn’t heard from the Titans since the end of season and isn’t sure what to think at this point. “I hope it changes things, but I don’t know,” Finnegan said. “All those guys work closely together. You see all of them — Lake, Ruston and Mike — together all the time. So I don’t know that a lot will change. Mike Reinfeldt will still be on top of everything. “I’m discouraged nothing has happened, but I am still in a holding pattern.” The Titans have from now until March 13th to get a deal done before Fi...

Titans To Offer DE/DT Jason Jones Only A One-Year Deal?

Titans DT-turned-DE Jason Jones was a good soldier when Tennessee informed him he was being moved outside before the season, even if Jones might have felt he was a better fit inside. Now, he is an unrestricted free agent whose value likely diminished after he struggled to learn a new position. With the Titans unlikely to offer more than a one-year deal, it will be interesting to...

Looking Back on Great Plays from This Year

The 2012 season was full of a lot of exciting plays from the Tennessee Titans. Who can forget some of the moments that led the Titans to the exciting finish of their 9-7 season. It’s a good thing Craig Stevens got a contract extension; remember back to the game against Denver and his huge 44 yard run down to the twenty yard line? Or what about the tip off a punt against Indy that...

2011 Tennessee Titans dubious awards

Tom has made some excellent selections in his awards for the Titans 2011 season. I'm now going to pass out some recognition for players who didn't play that well. Most underachieving player, offense: Chris JohnsonFor a guy who claimed he was a playmaker and deserved to be paid like one, Chris Johnson didn't achieve like a playmaker, barely gaining 1,000 yards in 2011...
