At times the Miami Dolphins offensive line has looked atrocious over the years. At one time their only solid blocker was Jake Long. But over the years pieces have been added to finally solidify this line through the draft. During this offseason the Dolphins lost their solid player Jake Long in free agency. Luckily they still have their other pieces in place like Mike Pouncey and Jonathan Martin. Lets take a look at this seasons most likely starting line.     At Left Tackle this season Jonathan Martin will be the starter, as a rookie last year he had a solid season and can still improve. Martin is a good run blocker with great technique, he knows how to use his hands and can bring defenders out of the play. He is smart and is a quick thinker in situations he is needed. He is a pretty good pass blocker and has potential to improve better. He is pretty athletic and has good speed for a linemen. He still needs some work though, he still struggles with speed rushers. But Martin is still a solid Tackle and will have a great season and a great career.     At Left Guard this season veteran Richie Incognito will be starting this season. Incognito has been a great part of this offensive line, he has great experience which is always a plus. He has a muscular build and carries his weight well. Incognito is a rock and stops blitzers in their tracks and is not easily pushed back. He extends his arms and controls a defender. He tries to drive a defender to the ground in the run game and has good athleticism. The downside to Incognito is he is over aggressive and lunges forward at times and has a very bad temper. He is known as a dirty player and gets called for penalties at times.     At Center this season is nothing new, Mike Pouncey the Dolphins franchise Center isn’t going anywhere. This will be his third season with the Dolphins and has been great. Pouncey is athletic and a good run blocker. He mirrors his defenders well and is a great pass blocker. He is quick off the snap and has good feet and is very agile. He can be beaten by a quick rusher and will sometimes lunge. Pouncey has been a solid part of this line and will still be this season and years to come.     Starting at Right Guard this season is Jeff Ireland’s three year project John Jerry. Jerry has been a disappointment over the years, a couple times showing up to training camp overweight and out of shape. Last season Jerry started near the end of the season for a few games and was doing well. Hopefully during this off season Jerry has managed to stay in shape so he can finally make an impact for this team. Jerry is not a quick thinker and his awareness is slow. He does have great power and has a fast snap. He is a great pass blocker sometimes but he is inconsistent. He has a great body when he manages to stay in shape. Due to his big size he is not very fast, he needs more upper body strength. He is a pretty good run blocker. Dolphins fans really hope Jerry will workout, and so does Jeff Ireland, because so far John Jerry has not lived up to his potential.     This seasons starter at Right Tackle is free agent pickup Tyson Clabo. In 2012 Clabo had a great season with the Falcons. He has good experience, he had been playing for the Falcons since 2006. If he continues his great play this season he will be an excellent addition to this offensive unit. Clabo hasn’t missed start from 2008-2012 and is durable. With the Dolphins he will be a great addition since the line has struggled with injuries.     The Dolphins offensive line is starting to become solid and will do a great job protecting Ryan Tannehill this season and will help create holes for Lamar Miller to blast through for great gains.
