TEAMS: New York Giants, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts
First off, many congratulations to the New York Giants and Eli Manning for another great Superbowl win - as I'm sure was the case for the rest of you, I was rooting for the Giants all game. Despite the 'Eli > Peyton' articles which are sure to spring up (and already have), the thought of Tom Brady with four rings was too much for me to bear. From a Five Plays perspective, I've decided this week to summarise the Free Agency pieces so far and list those who I haven't assessed yet. Theismann: Peyton Manning to Redskins ‘horrific idea’
Sure, Joe Theismann is often a bit of a blind homer when it comes to the Redskins, but his quarterbacking intuition was not bad this past season.
“I just don’t agree with the decision to start John Beck,” he said shortly after the switch was made, when virtually all Redskins fans were still on board with the Beck Era.

Love Eli? Rivalry’s What Rocks
Talk about reversal of fortunes.
Who’d a’ thunk at the start of NFL 2011 it’d be Manning-the-Younger (Eli) hoisting the hardware in February as opposed to Manning-the-Elder (Peyton), whose career would be teetering on the brink? Not many, and even fewer Giants’ fans and East Coast media.
The low expectations never seemed to faze the League’s new 4th Quarter phenom. Through...
Breaking Down the Peyton Manning Saga, Steve Young “Everything is in Place in Washington…”
The marriage between Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts is on the brink of divorce. With Indy totally cleaning house in the front office, and bringing in a new head coach, its obvious the Colts are in rebuilding mode. New York Giants, Super Bowl champs!
There's no need for me to rehash all the ins and outs of last night's game. Sports Illustrated's website provides some great analysis and commentary if you're online, and ESPN is talking it to death if you're watching tv. All I will say is that I love my team, I love that they wanted to win, and I kinda love that it was the Patriots that they stuck it to. I will...
