ARLINGTON, Texas -- After welcoming three new members into the Ring of Honor, Larry Allen, Drew Pearson and Charles Haley, the Cowboys went on to defeat the Seattle Seahawks, 23-13, on Sunday. Here are my five thoughts on the Cowboys' fourth win of the season. 1.) For the third time in four home games the Cowboys earned a victory in a brutal contest for the viewing audience. Aside from a second-half meltdown against the Detroit Lions , Cowboys Stadium has been a great spot for those trying to catch up on sleep. The latest installment saw the home team mess around with the Seahawks for three quarters before finally pulling away. Winning is all that matters in the NFL, so apparently the Cowboys just need to rock their opponents to sleep. After all, they're 3-0 when that happens. "At this point and time, the most important thing is winning football games," Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman said. "I learned early in my career that you'll have ugly ballgames, you'll win some of those ugly ballgames, and you take those. That's just the way it is." 2.) DeMarco Murray is the starting running back and that shouldn't change even when Felix Jones returns from his high ankle sprain. For the third consecutive game, Murray put forth an impressive effort, finishing with 139 yards on 22 carries. More importantly, Murray's running gives the Cowboys some stability. Hand it to the 23-year-old 20-25 times a game and get out of his way. Can anyone really argue with 466 yards over the last three weeks? Before suffering the ankle injury, Jones was the feature back for five games, and managed 253 yards on 63 carries. "With Felix coming back, when that happens, we're certainly hopeful to get all the bullets back in the gun as soon as we can and we'll deal with the situation when Felix is able to come back," head coach Jason Garrett said. "We'd like to get both of those guys touches, there's no question about it." 3.) Is Laurent Robinson the Cowboys' top wide receiver. With Dez Bryant unable to turn in a complete performance - making a nice play one second and fumbling the next - and Miles Austin nursing another hamstring injury, Robinson looks like the No. 1 guy. Tony Romo found Robinson five times on Sunday, including one for the game-winning touchdown. "He takes his job serious," Bryant said about Robinson. "When a guy takes his job serious you got to give him the ball. He's doing a great job." 4.) Romo quietly turned in a very respectable outing. The Cowboys' franchise quarterback was 19-of-31 for 279 yards, two touchdowns and, most importantly, no interceptions. A steady Romo coupled with an effective Murray and the Cowboys have a pretty solid offensive unit. "He had a solid game," Seahawks safety Earl Thomas said of Romo. "He is a great quarterback. He didn't put air under the ball to give me time to break like most quarterbacks do. He was kind of like drilling it. He just did a great job and he game-planned us well." 5.) What happened to being one of the top run defenses in the NFL? For the second consecutive week an opposing running back ran for at least 135 yards against Rob Ryan's bunch. After holding St. Louis' Steven Jackson to 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 7, Philadelphia's LeSean McCoy busted out for a carer-best 185 yards and two scores in Week 8. On Sunday, Seattle's Marshawn Lynch went for 135 yards and a touchdown. "I don't give a expletive about stats," Ryan said. "I was fine with how we played. I'm not fine with 5.4 yards a carry, but whatever. We've had a couple of big ones here that we didn't play the right defense, but we'll be OK there. We're fine. Nothing to panic about. We're going to be OK." Bradie James added: "Marshawn Lynch, he's good, man. I think he is one of the most underrated players in the league when it comes to running the ball because we were on him."
