Joe Flacco has lost three fumbles and thrown three interceptions in his last three games, each of which the Baltimore Ravens lost. Flacco understands that an NFL quarterback often receives an inordinate amount of criticism in defeat and perhaps too much credit for a victory. And he's OK with it. Asked how much blame he deserves for Baltimore's current skid, Flacco replies, ''All of it. It starts with the quarterback.'' In this case, it really does. Flacco's turnovers have contributed heavily to the Ravens' longest losing streak since 2009. But Baltimore (9-5) is headed to the playoffs for a fifth straight season, all with Flacco as the starter. The Ravens can clinch their second straight AFC North title by beating the New York Giants (8-6) on Sunday. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL

Is #Flaccoing About to Catch on Fire??

So Joe Flacco is basically a fluke at this point right?  Only hardcore delusional Ravens fans would tell you otherwise.   The real question here is, will this be bigger than Tebowing??  #Flaccoing is way easier to do and people love to give guys a hard time in the NFL when they are struggling.  It's as easy as taking a nap too, which is basically what this guy does during...

With  quarterback Joe Flacco’s running out at the end of the season, he remains optimistic that he’ll get a long-term extension from the Ravens. “Yeah, I always am [optimistic],” Flacco said, per the Baltimore Sun. “This is a great organization and you’re always upbeat about that.” Flacco says he doesn’t even think about his contract situation. “I’m sure it...

Will Flacco Ever Be An Elite Quarterback? No Time Soon In My Eyes

It's one thing when someone wants to talk about how good they are. It's another thing when someone talks about how good they are and fails to live up to those words. This is exactly the case when we discuss Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. It was Flacco who came out and said he is an elite QB in the NFL going into the season. It started it off good, as Flacco and...

Joe Flacco: Ravens are 9-5 and we feel like 0-14

Despite only losing their last three games, quarterback Joe Flacco says the team feels as though they are 0-14 (Credit: AP Photo) After losing three straight games to the Steelers, Redskins and Broncos, some players on the Baltimore Ravens are feeling low. While the team is still 9-5 and has clinched a playoff spot, quarterback Joe Flacco does not feel like celebrating. Flacco actually...

Ravens Injury Report: Jameel McClain Out for Season

The Baltimore Ravens continue to take injury hit after injury hit to their defense, as starting linebacker Jameel McClain has been diagnosed with a spinal cord contusion. The team has said that the injury will sideline the linebacker for the remainder of the season, reports Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com. The Ravens’ linebacker corps is down another player, this time for...

Who shows up against Ravens -- Good Eli or Bad Eli ?

If you think Joe Flacco is on the QB hot seat right now, try stepping into Eli Manning's shoes. Eli had a rough outing against Atlanta last week. The Giants (8-6) come into M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday needing a win desperately to stay in the NFC East playoff hunt. "Good Eli" is one of the top passers and playcallers in the league. "Bad Eli" can look...

Dennis Pitta’s big game against the Broncos has become par for the course for the Denver D

Dennis Pitta is why you pay attention to fantasy defenses by position. The Broncos have been strong against the pass on the season but gave up the 2nd most fantasy points on the season to opposing Tight Ends coming in to this week’s contest. While many of Pitta’s yards came on a nifty play down the middle that probably shouldn't have gone for a score (missed tackles) it...

Torrey Smith Questionable For Week 16

Baltimore wideout Torrey Smith, who suffered a concussion during the third quarter of last Sunday's game against Denver, is questionable for Sunday's game against the NY Giants.Fantasy Spin:The concussion was only supposed to be mild, but he only has a couple of days to recover or fantasy owners will have to make alternate plans. It's been a month since Smith put up a...

Giants-Ravens Preview

The Baltimore Ravens are headed to the playoffs and the New York Giants can join them with two more victories. Neither club, however, enters Sunday's matchup in Baltimore with much momentum. The Ravens will be trying to avoid their first four-game slide in five seasons while the inconsistent Giants were shut out last week for the first time in seven campaigns. Baltimore (9...

Beaten by their own offense, Ravens lose to Denver, 34-17...

On a day when a Baltimore defense inundated with injury was able to give Peyton Manning everything he could handle and more, the Ravens offense did not show up like the cavalry they were supposed to be. In fact, Flacco and company gave points away to Denver. It was a disgraceful performance. It wasn't all on Joe Flacco, although Joe admitted after the game the pick-6 he...
