Last week, Chip Kelly officially announced that Michael Vick will be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles to start the 2013-14 season. This wasn’t exactly a surprise. Vick has had an excellent preseason and is the more experienced player, as well as the bigger locker room presence. Foles was, undoubtedly disappointed.  And of course, some people in the Philadelphia media immediately decided that the Eagles need to trade Nick Foles. And they’re absolutely, 100% right! The Eagles should immediately trade away a valuable asset just before the regular season begins. They should trade away their viable backup option for an often reckless player that has had injury issues throughout the past couple of seasons. It’s not like there’s any chance in hell that this team could win some games and slip into the Wild Card. It’s completely impossible, even. If Howie Roseman isn’t already buying Foles a one way ticket to Jacksonville, then he is even more of a fool than we previously thought. There’s certainly no reason to keep Foles around when future hall of famer Matt Barkley is in the fold. Plus, Foles is already SO OLD. 24? We know exactly who he is and how the rest of his career is going to pan out. He’s peaked. Get a 3rd-round pick and call it a day. Face it guys, it’s a Michael Vick world and Nick Foles is just living in it.   The post Foles Must Go appeared first on Eagles Faithful.
