Apparently not too impressed with Kris Brown’s tryout, the New York Jets are sticking with Nick Folk… for now.
Struggling as of late with FGs, PATs, and kickoffs, the Jets brought in veteran Kris Brown on Tuesday to either replace Nick Folk or give him a wake up call.
“I still feel really confident,” Folk said. “If I were in their shoes I would have done the same thing.”
Folk did say that he performed better in practice on Thursday.
“We’ll get it fixed,” he said.
22 of 30 on field goal attempts, having missed five of his last 10 field goals, including a 44-yard try against the Cincinnati Bengals last Thursday night, Folk needs to turn it around for Monday Night’s matchup in Foxboro.
