Found September 16, 2013 on Football Nation:
Week two started early with a Thursday night game in Foxboro Massachusetts. It was a dark and stormy night, though not the only one this week. Lightning and rain actually delayed Sunday games in Tampa, Florida and Seattle, as well. Tom Brady struggled through pouring rain for most of the Patriots' contest with the Jets. After the delay in Tampa Bay, Marques Colston makes a clutch catch from Drew Brees in the waning moments to help set up the winning field goal. Colston only caught four passes for 63 yards, but none were bigger than the last one.  Soldier Field was another sloppy venue, where Jay Cutler lead his Chicago Bears on a game—winning drive to trump the Minnesota Vikings 31—30. On the receiving end was tight end Martellus Bennett; it was his seventh reception of the game.  Ron Parker changes the momentum of the game for the Kansas City Chiefs with this strip sack of Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys. The Chiefs went on to get the slim victory by the margin of 17—16.  In Ho...

Brady: 'It just doesn't magically come together'

Tom Brady hasn’t often been through the kind of night he endured Thursday night and still won the game. The 2011 AFC championship comes to mind. But this Patriots team is a long ways from that and Brady knows it. The Patriots quarterback was 19-of-39 for just 185 yards and did throw a touchdown pass that extended his streak of games with a touchdown pass to 50. The Patriots beat...

Tom Brady: ‘I’m not Making All the Right Plays’

The Patriots may have won their first two games of the 2013 season, but the most played images of the Pats two victories was Tom Brady’s disappointed gestures, directed at his inexperienced receiving corps.  Brady went on Boston radio Monday to let everyone know all the blame shouldn’t be place on his young receivers. “I’m not making all the right plays, either,” Brady...

Tom Brady addresses the offense's struggles

After only two games this season, it really is difficult to take statistics seriously because of the small portion of games played. Things change quickly in the NFL; teams start off hot then cool down while other teams start awful and then turn things around. So the legitimacy of stats early in the season (especially after only two weeks) is what you choose to make out of it. That...

Will the Patriots continue to lean on their defense?

With the Patriots offense not meshing as well as they would have hoped, it has been the defense that has been a pleasant surprise. Throughout the first couple games of the season, the defense has come through in the clutch and has arguably out-performed the Tom Brady led offense. Granted Brady doesn't have much talent around him, but that is still saying a lot since the defense...

Patriots Receivers Set A New Low In Embarrassing Performance Against Jets

There have been quite a few horrible receivers or it’s probably more appropriately to say horrible receiving performances. But the masterpiece in poor receiver play that the Patriots receivers put together last night has to rank near the top. Tom Brady hit those guys everywhere except the bottom of their feet and they struggled mightily to make plays. The receivers Aaron Dobson...

Just a Little Patience

It will take time for the Patriots rookie receivers to develop, but will Tom Brady have enough patience to wait.

Miley Cyrus – Wrecking Ball Tom Brady Edition (Video)

Miley Cyrus and Tom Brady have released a new version of her music video “Wrecking Ball”?? That would be terrific, but someone did photoshop the New England Patriots QB’s face onto her body. We’re taking a look at the best “Wrecking Ball” video parody I’ve seen so far. NBC Has Michelle Tafoya Doing Weird Things (GIF) Vanilla Ice Performs in Houston with Texan Cheerleaders (GIF)

Tom Brady’s head gets put on Miley Cyrus’ body in bizarre new video

I don’t know what possesses people to do these things, but Tom Brady has now gotten the Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball video treatment.  This video is creepy to say the least. [YouTube]

Washington Redskins at Green Bay Packers: 2013 Week 2 NFL Pick

Washington Redskins (0-1) at Green Bay Packers (0-1) I’ve flip-flopped on this one so many times because it’s tough to know what to expect from Robert Griffin. Robert Griffin threw 4 interceptions all last regular season. Now he has 4 interceptions in his last 2 games combined, including the playoff loss to Seattle. It’s worth noting that Tom Brady had one of the worst seasons...

Last Second Decisions – Overreaction Week

A week is in the books and it’s time to absolutely freak out.  Tom Brady is horrible, time to drop him for Terrelle Pryor! Like a GOP reaction to Obama having his foot on the Oval Office desk, then the subsequent overreaction to the jokes about overreactions, there’s been a lot of drama to overreactions.  Chill out people!  It’d be like a biologist getting all angry because...

Robert Kraft, Tom Brady, Vince Wilfork gather at Jerod Mayo Bowl

Jerod Mayo and most of his teammates gathered Monday night at King's in Dedham for the fourth annual Mayo bowl. In attendance along with Mayo were stars such as Vince Wilfork, Donta' Hightower, Brandon Spikes, Nate Solder, Julian Edelman, Tedy Bruschi and Matt Light. Oh, and also some guys named Robert Kraft and Tom Brady. Jerod Mayo spoke to the media before the event kicked...

Dobson: "I've got to be better."

In April during the NFL draft season Aaron Dobson was known for his amazingly reliable hands at Marshall. Now that is in question after he went 3/9 for 56 yards and a touchdown during the home opening win at Gillette stadium. Dobson said after the game, "that’s definitely not acceptable to drop the ball". "I’m a receiver, so...
