The Patriots have been trying to figure out ways to fix their secondary. Too many players have beaten them wide or over the middle and they need more than Patrick Chung patrolling the middle to keep people on their toes.
Well, one player the Patriots were hoping to go after was San Francisco 49ers Safety Dashon Goldson, who had a monster year on the Bay. Well, that most likely will not happen now as according to ESPN.com, the 49ers have used their franchise tag on Goldson.
