Get ready for some Salsa Dancin’ Juan…

I will look at each game and give details about each team that may help fantasy owners make better decisions going into that week’s games.  Enjoy. Giants

Eli Manning: In his last 4 meetings with the Boys, he has averaged 356 yards with 2.75 TDs.  Makes a very strong start.

Ahmad Bradshaw/David Wilson: This will be our first look at the Giants new running game.  It will be interesting to see how the carries are divided.

Hakeem Nicks/Victor Cruz:  Nicks says he is ready to go despite missing some practice time this week.  He is extremely important to the Giants passing attack.  Cruz has looked fantastic in the preseason and will try and show that 2011 was not a fluke.

Nicks in his last 4 games vs the Boys: 26/420/3

Cruz in his last 3 games vs the Boys: 13/261/1

Martellus Bennett makes his Giants debut against his former team.  He has been coached up by one of the best in Mike Pope, so revenge could be on the horizon.  A decent week 1 fill in.

Cowboys

Tony Romo has averaged 216 yards passing and 2.3 TDs per game in his last 3 meetings with the Giants.

DeMarco Murray is entering his second season with high expectations and will be relied on heavily in this game with the receiving weapons beat up.  Like him as a top 10 guy this week

Miles Austin in his last 4 games vs the Giants 11/189/2.  It will be interesting to see how his injured hamstring holds up.  I don’t completely trust him here.

Dez Bryant in his last 4 games vs the Giants 14/278/4.  This will be his chance to show that he can step up in the big game.

Jason Witten has made the trip, but looks like a gametime decision.  I would have a backup plan in place.

Week 1 Pass Defense Matchups: Not the Best Carr for a Cruz

Have you ever opened a brand new pack of Starburst only to find that most of them are yellow?  It’s easily one of the worst feelings ever, but even worse is realizing that one or two of your key WRs are going up against one of the top cornerbacks in the league.  Matchups play a key role in fantasy football and if you want to be the best, you need to keep your eye out for matchups...

Tony Romo shines as Cowboys defeat Eli Manning’s Giants

Cowboys-Giants Season Opener Live Blog

via As much as Dallas failure is enjoyed and appreciated on all levels, there’s something to be said for seeing the defending champs lose their home opener after an extravagant ceremony where Eli Manning shrugs his shoulders in triumph. Live Blog!!

Eli Manning's high school Senior year picture. I'm a little late turning the TV on for the big NFL opener tonight.  I was down at the liquor store trying to find a 30 year old bottle of whiskey I could have for my house in order to impress a bunch of ******* I actually hate when it really comes down to it.
