This season, Victor Cruz made his little salsa jig in the endzone following touchdowns pretty famous. It was so good, Madonna imitated the dance during her Super Bowl press conference. And during the Grammys, Cruz was even asked to give the crowd a rendition before he presented an award. Naturally, he obliged.
That brings us to Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington.
As he told us in today’s Herald, it was his job to prevent the salsa man from making his moves during the Super Bowl. And for the most part, Arrington shut down Cruz, who had 4 catches for 25 yards. One touchdown catch of two yards by Cruz, however, made a big difference in the Giants 21-17 win over the Patriots.
”I had the task of trying to limit him.
