TEAMS:
Cincinnati Bengals
Former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader Sarah Jones, the same one who admittedly had sex with an underage student, has scored her own reality TV show, Radar is reporting.
To the shock of no one, it will be produced by the same production company that created Jersey Shore. Because we don’t have enough trashy reality TV? Because the Real Housewives of (insert city here) and 16 and Pregnant aren’t giving us enough mind-numbing garbage?
This is an AWFUL idea. Jones is blatantly being rewarded for committing statutory rape. What is her show going to focus on? Her “relationship” with now 18-year old Cody York? Her trying to justify what she did? Her journey of reformation?
What message is this sending? It’s bad enough we (and by “we” I mean everyone but myself) had to watch The Situation, Snookie, JWoww and whoever else get paid an ungodly amount of money to be drunk, fighting, and naked (usually at the same time), but now someone has decided to glorify this woman’s ill...

Peyton Manning VS The Bengals
This will probably be the toughest game the Bengals play this season. There are a boatload of reasons the Broncos should dominate the Bengals on Sunday.
1. Shaky o-line vs an incredible D-Line.
2. Terrible coverage ability by the secondary facing a QB that lives on picking apart a secondary.
3. Weak run stuffing vs a team that can run the ball.
4. A QB that has never lost to the...
Could there be a Dre sighting this weekend?
Marvin Lewis hinted before the bye week that Dre Kirkpatrick could see the field after the bye week. I have no doubt he is physically able to play. A source who has talked with the DB confirmed that Dre is in fact healthy and questions himself why he has not been on the field. Knowing that and the fact that the Bengals are going to need as much help as possible facing one of the...
Dre Kirkpatrick is expected to make debut in week 9 for Bengals
Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) is expected to make his debut against the Broncos in Week 9. Kirkpatrick injured his knee all the way back in July but has been practicing for the past three weeks. The first-round pick is working with the first-team defense in practice, so he could take the left corner spot from Terence Newman. Beat writer Joe Reedy says it “remains to be seen”...
Could a trade happen for the Bengals?
This is the first season in a long time where big names are being floated as possible trades at the NFL trade deadline. Through various sources I have heard large name NFL players like Vick, Steven Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Deangelo Williams, Tim Tebow and Takeo Spikes being floated as possible trades before the Thursday 4pm deadline. Lets imagine for a second the Bengals were the type...
Marvin says it is time to step up
We agree, it is time to step up.
Bengals fans have been saying it, the media has been saying it. Now Marvin Lewis said it:
“We’re looking for our quarterback and our middle linebacker to take hold of our football team and that’s important for us.”
Amen Marvin. Maualuga has been a disappointment this season. He seems to be slow and often out of position. In a contract year...
Marvin Lewis challenges Dalton, Maualuga
CINCINNATI (AP) -- Bengals coach Marvin Lewis has gone on the offensive, openly challenging quarterback Andy Dalton and middle linebacker Rey Maualuga to start leading their 3-4 team.
Lewis singled out the two of them during a conference call with writers in Denver and a session with Cincinnati-area media on Wednesday. He said they're both quiet guys who need to develop more...

Bengals escape one storm, now face another
CINCINNATI (AP) -- With a storm bearing down and his flight canceled, Bengals snapper Clark Harris had to improvise.
He got his wife and their 4-month-old child in a car and headed west, driving more than 12 hours through wind and heavy rain to get back to Cincinnati as the Bengals' bye weekend wrapped up. He pulled into town in the early morning hours Monday, wondering if his...
Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis Challenges QB Andy Dalton, LB Rey Maualuga
Bengals coach Marvin Lewis publicly challenged quarterback Andy Dalton and middle linebacker Rey Maualuga on Wednesday to become more forceful leaders on their 3-4 team.
''We're looking for our quarterback and our middle linebacker to take hold of our football team, and I think that's important for us,'' Lewis said. ''I think both guys are such good...

Reality Television Has Reached Rock Bottom
On October 8, 27-year old former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader and teacher Sarah Jones pleaded guilty to having sex with one of her students, a 17-year old boy. However, the boy’s family and Jones have known each other for a long time and despite the 9-year age difference, she had been friends with now-18 Cody York since he was a child. So it wasn’t much of a surprise when the...

Unsung heroes that will have an impact on Sunday
Any casual observer / fantasy football player knows the stars in the game on Sunday. For the Bengals there will be much talk of Dalton, Green, the law firm. For the Broncos people know Manning, Thomas, Decker and McGahee. However, the game will be decided by the less likely known players. Below, I highlight a couple from each team. If these players play to their potential they will...
Cincinnati Bengals: Week 9 NFL Power Rankings (#27)
Last week: 27 (+0)
Record: 3-4
On bye.
Bye Bye…
We got it out the way. Over…done… kaput! Now that the bye is over we look forward to the second half. As a rule of thumb, Cincinnati has been a first half football team. We get up and then find some way to let it get away from us. This has happened with some of our seasons as well. Last year we started 6-2 but then went 3-5 for the second part of the season. Now...
