Former Ohio State and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver David Boston is facing up to 3 years in prison after pleading guilty in a West Palm Beach court Tuesday.
He was charged last year with punching a woman in the head. Police say he was drunk at his Boca Raton home when he punched the woman twice in the head. The woman needed 10 stitiches!
He'll hear his fate at a December 10th hearing.
His attorney, Guy Fronstin, says he is "extremely remorseful for his actions and accepted full responsibility."
He plead guilty hoping to receive a lesser sentence. Boston was drafted by the Cardinals in 1999 and stayed with team until 2002. In the highlight of his NFL career, he made the Pro Bowl in 2001 (98 REC 1,598 YDs, 8 TDs).
His career didn't quite pan out as intended, later on lingering around with the San Diego Chargers (2003), Miami Dolphins (2004–2005), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2006) andToronto Argonauts (CFL) (2008).
In 2007, his final NFL season, he had some le...

Cardinals LT D’Anthony Batiste was benched in favor of Nate Potter during Sunday’s Week 9 loss to the Packers. Finally. Batiste has been the worst left tackle in the league this season and is a big reason why the Cardinals’ offensive line reached historically bad proportions. Potter is a seventh-round rookie, but he can’t do much worse. Expect him to start in Week 11 when...
The Arizona Cardinals have lost starting outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield for the season with an injured left ankle.
Schofield was injured in Sunday's 31-17 loss at Green Bay. Initially, it was thought it probably was only a sprain but further examination uncovered ligament damage that requires surgery.
Quintin Groves replaced Schofield in the game and is expected to...
The news keeps getting worse for the reeling Arizona Cardinals.
Updating a previous story, Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield will miss the rest of the season with an injured left ankle.
Schofield, a fourth round draft pick out of Wisconsin in 2010, was hurt in the Cardinals' 31-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. The injury was originally...
Cardinals RB Beanie Wells told reporters that there’s “no doubt” he will be back in time for the team’s Week 12 matchup against the St Louis Rams, via AzCardinals.com.
Wells was placed on IR with the designation to return and could return to practice as soon as Wednesday. Arizona has their bye this weekend and considering that Wells will not be available for Week 11, La’Rod...
Washington State is having a tough season. We knew that Mike Leach was taking over a tough job but with reports of mutiny and a 2-7 record(0-6 in conference) things are getting weird out there in Pullman. I’m actually hoping the team gets better so that we can get more Mike Leach but they have The post Video: Full Bizare Mike Leach Press Conference appeared first on No Coast Bias.

Washington State hasn’t been particularly good at football for about a decade. In fact, the last time the Cougars posted a winning record was in 2003 (that season was actually the third straight 10-win campaign for WSU). They would need to roll together the past five seasons’ worth of results right now to accumulate 10 wins.
Mike Leach entered Cougartown this season. He’s...
OVER THE PAST several weeks, Washington State coach Mike Leach has publicly criticized his football players. The Cougars are 2-7 and deserve criticism, but coaches typically yell at their players at practice or rip them in private. They don’t berate them in front of the media.
