EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings added more competition at the wide receiver position Monday, agreeing to terms with former San Diego Chargers receiver Bryan Walters.

Too much Philip Rivers is bad for Norv Turner’s job stability
Norv Turner isn’t a bad coach. No seriously. And that is one of the reasons why the San Diego Chargers decided to give him one more chance to get this team playing up to its potential but like every coach Turner’s fate is tied closely to the performance of his quarterback; Philip Rivers. And trust me; Turner is very happy to have Rivers as his quarterback. Rivers has a great arm...

Fantasy Football Impact: Robert Meachem To The Chargers
It is tough to tell what the San Diego Chargers are doing with their franchise at this point therefore making it hard to predict how they will do in 2012.
The team is not looking too good. Phillip Rivers had an off year, injuries plagued the team and many expected that Head Coach Norv Turner would be fired.
Then moving into free agency they lost running back Mike Tolbert to the...
Chargers Planning To Feature WR Robert Meachem In Their Passing Game
Robert Meachem never has had more than 45 catches and 722 yards in a season, but his new team believes he is capable of much more. In fact, Chargers coach Norv Turner tells me he wouldnt be surprised to see Meachem with between 60 and 70 catches and more than 1,000 receiving yards. Look at the history of the offense, the things weve done, Turner said. Meachem is capable...

Gates Set to Resume Role as No. 1 Receiver
The Chargers added several offensive weapons this offseason: Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal, Le'Ron McClain and Dante Rosario. But the player with a shot to lift the offense to a championship level has already been on the roster for almost a decade. That would be Antonio Gates, who will drive the passing attack more than ever before.
