Former Miami Dolphin Pat White will tryout for NFL teams at WVU's Pro Day. White was on New England's radar pre Draft before the Dolphins jumped in front to take him early. He's been out of the league for a while, so he'll need to impress scouts.

Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Pat White will work out at West Virginia’s pro day on March 14th to try to prove to NFL scouts that he can still play.
The Dolphins drafted White in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft, but he ended up flaming out and pursuing a career in baseball that hasn’t taken him very far.
White may have a chance at a succesful comeback, especially if...
Before there was a Colin Kaepernick, RG3, and Russell Wilson running spread, innovative offenses, there was Pat White at West Virginia.
White who was a former 2nd round pick of the Dolphins and essentially a bust soon after that. White left the NFL in 2009 to pursue a career in baseball with the Royals before trying his hand at acting.
Yahoo Sport is now reporting that White is...
The Miami Dolphins don’t seem to be in too big of a rush to resign Sean Smith. However, it seems that Smith might be antsy to find a new team as soon as free agency opens on March 12th. Typically, when you get NFL players, agents, coaches, and general managers in the same place (The Combine), there will be a lot of behind the scenes discussions that take place. Now, those...
The Miami Dolphins aren’t being shy in their support for running back Lamar Miller. They have virtually cast off incumbent Reggie Bush, and 2011 second round pick Daniel Thomas has already been deemed the backup.
According to Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel, Miller is the guy who the Dolphins will ride with. Miller was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 4th round of the 2012...

I’m not here to say being a NFL G.M. is an easy job, but if Jeff Ireland doesn’t hit the 2013 NFL draft on the money, then he won’t be on the Miami Dolphins in 2014. The scene is set for the Dolphins in the 2013 draft. They have five picks in the first three rounds, and unfortunately for Ireland; he has never had a lot of luck in those rounds under his leadership... Read more

him more as a luxury than an essential building block.

Ben Volin of The Palm Beach Post reports that a “well-placed league source” has informed him that the Dolphins were “active in meetings” with potential free agents at this year’s NFL Combine.
Volin’s source added that GM Jeff Ireland was looking “pretty hard” at the wide receiver position in particular.
No specific players were named as targets for the Dolphins...
With the 2013 NFL Draft approaching, we break down the needs for the Miami Dolphins, as well as provide answers and potential draft selections.
Remember when Jeff Ireland asked Dez Bryant if his mom was a prostitute? He did apologize, but that line of questioning was never dismissed by the NFL. Only the NFLPA stood up against that.
But, if you asked Manti Te’o if he is gay or if a player likes girls, the NFL frowns upon that.
NFL to investigate report that Nick Kasa was asked at combine if he liked women. Any team found...
In their never ending search to find another quarterback for their roster, the New York Jets have worked out veteran free agent QB David Garrard. Garrard has undergone back issues in recent years and was a member of the Miami Dolphins during training camp last year. Garrard looked good in camp but the team ultimately decided to release the veteran while entering the 2012 season with...
Colts cornerback Vontae Davis took to his Twitter account earlier today to inform his followers that he saw former teammate Dolphins cornerback Sean Smith last night and that Smith was talking to Kansas City. That would be all well and good besides the fact that under league rules, Smith can’t talk to another team because he’s under contract with the Dolphins. When something...
