DENVER - There are no cheesesteak wars, Rocky statues or Santa Claus-booing fans in Denver, but that doesn't mean former Eagles safety Brian Dawkins doesn't feel at home playing for the Broncos. After 13 seasons in Philly, Dawkins got off to a rocky start after he moved to the Mile High City in free agency. "It was tough," Dawkins said in a conference call last week. "I was very entrenched in Philly, with my teammates, so it was very emotional." Then camp began and Dawkins discovered that from a defensive standpoint his new home wasn't that much different than his old one thanks to coordinator Mike Nolan. "The thing I like about it is that it's a very attacking defense, and I'm used to that obviously being from Philly," Dawkins said.
