Gerald Huth, a guard on the Eagles' 1960 championship team, died in Las Vegas on Friday. He was 77. Huth threw the block that led to the game winning touchdown in the 1960 NFL Championship game. Huff and the 1960 Eagles team was honored the opener in September. According to Huth's family, he'll be buried Eagles jacket he received in September. Huth was the Giants’ 24th-round draft pick out of Wake Forest in 1956. After being drafted, he spent a year with the Army in Germany, then returned to the NFL and joined the Eagles in 1959.
