Former NFL running back Stephen Davis was arrested in Columbia, S.C. for operating a nightclub with a revoked license. Davis was still in jail Thursday night and faced additional charges related to check fraud. A state agency revoked the license for Davis' club, PURE Lounge, in July but the club did not close. Davis, 38, played collegiately at Auburn and in the NFL rushed for 8,052 yards in 11 seasons with the Redskins, Rams and Panthers. He was born in Spartanburg, S.C.
