Former NFL defensive back Elvis Patterson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated on Sunday.The 52-year old was booked into Douglas County Jail on multiple charges including driving with a suspended license, DWI, and refusing to take a breathalyzer test. He has since been released on a $1,500 bond.Patterson was also arrested on similar charges in 2011, but his DUI case was eventually dismissed by prosecutors. He did, however, plead guilty to two traffic violations, refusing a breath test, and speeding.The Texas native played his college career at the University of Kansas before playing in the NFL from 1984-1993. He was a member of two Super Bowl teams and once earned the nickname of "toast" by Bill Parcells for Patterson's tendency to let receivers get free for big plays while his was covering them.Via LJWorld
