Al Harris
Two time Pro Bowler, Al Harris, was released on Monday by the Packers. Two days later, he becomes a Miami Dolphin.
Harris has been rehabilitating his left knee, after an ACL injury. He began practicing on with the Packers three weeks ago to see how he was able to preform. Monday was the deadline for the Green Bay Packers to place him on IR or activate him. The Packers management chose to release him.
Al Harris will always be remembered as a Packer. The player who asked doctors to remove an injured spleen so he could play the following week. How can you not love a guy like that?
