Former Player Doesn’t Hold Back On Houston Texans’ CJ Stroud

Finding success in the NFL Draft, particularly at the quarterback position, is a challenging feat, yet the Houston Texans managed to hit the jackpot.

CJ Stroud swiftly asserted his dominance, seamlessly transitioning his Ohio State achievements to the professional arena. His inaugural season in the league witnessed an explosion of impressive statistics, establishing him as not only the premier offensive rookie and rookie quarterback but also as one of the league’s elite quarterbacks overall.

Had it not been for an unfortunate injury, Stroud could have easily contended for the MVP title, crafting what many consider to be one of the most remarkable rookie quarterback campaigns in NFL history.

In light of these accomplishments, NFL analyst Damien Woody speculates that Stroud could soon ascend to the ranks of the top five quarterbacks in the league.

During a segment on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Woody commended the Texans for their strategic additions, endorsing their commitment to equipping Stroud with the necessary arsenal.

Today’s NFL boasts an unprecedented wealth of talent at the quarterback position. However, Stroud’s potential to crack the top five is not far-fetched. While stalwarts like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are likely fixtures in this elite group, a resurgent Joe Burrow remains a formidable contender.

Challenges lie ahead for other quarterbacks vying for recognition. Josh Allen must prove himself amidst a dearth of offensive weapons, while Jalen Hurts seeks redemption. Tua Tagovailoa, Dak Prescott, and Justin Herbert face the task of consistently triumphing over formidable opponents.

Against this backdrop, CJ Stroud’s trajectory appears promising, positioning him for a potential ascent into the upper echelons of NFL quarterbacks. The Houston Texans clearly got themselves a good one.
