TEAMS: Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets
Well, that didn’t take long. ESPN is reporting former Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is interviewing for the open OC position with the New York Jets today. If you recall, Cameron was fired by the Ravens after losing to the Redskins and Steelers in the midst of a three game losing streak in Week 14 (so the Week 15 loss to the Broncos was totally not his fault). In an interesting twist, Cameron could be replacing former Jets OC Tony Sparano, the same coach Cameron replaced when he took over as head coach of the Miami Dolphins in 2007. After posting a 1-15 record with the Dolphins and an immediate dismissal, Cameron joined the Ravens as the offensive coordinator in 2008 where he worked one season with defensive coordinator Rex Ryan before Ryan left for the New York Jets.
Cameron has a reputation for being good with young quarterbacks, he’s crediting for developing a young Philip Rivers and elite quarterback Joe Flacco, but he also is known for rather curious — some would say ...

Simms: Hard for Tebow to ever be a starter
Arun MoraceAfter a failed season with the New York Jets, the Tim Tebow detractors are piling on. The latest is Phil Simms, who said on last night’s episode of The Late Show with David Letterman that he believes it will be hard for Tebow to ever again be a starter in the NFL. Simms cited the incredible polarization Tebow bring to any fan base, and how it will always create some...
No Huddle – New York Jets Continue To Drift With No Direction
It is late January and the Jets are lost in a fog with no direction in place for 2013 yet. Don’t fret folks we have been here plenty of times before. Let’s allow it to all play out, or at least wait for the ink on Rex Ryan’s other arm to dry first. Ryan’s next tattoo that includes a franchise player’s number, is where the ultimate answer lies. We all know that.
So make...
Vote: Who Is the Greatest Quarterback in Jets History?
Editor’s note: As part of NFL’s Greatest Quarterback, fans will decide the best QB in each team’s history.
Joe Namath: Namath’s career statline may not look overly impressive, but he was one of the stars of the AFL and took part in what might be the most famous moment in the league’s history when he guaranteed a victory over the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III and came...
Ahmad Rashad's friendship with Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan leading to divorce
Woody Johnson's wealthy ex-wife Sale Johnson and her new husband, former NFL star and sportscaster Ahmad Rashad, have apparently hit a rough spot in their marriage and a lot of the problem stems from him hanging around with his golf buddies Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan.
The couple, who live in a swanky enclave of Jupiter, Fla., have been fighting over her immense $100 million...
Tebow attracts a crowd, but no job, in Arizona
PHOENIX -- As Australian pole vaulter Steve Hooker trained on the track at Paradise Valley Community College on Tuesday morning, a crowd began to grow beside him.
But the crowd, which grew at one point to as many as 50 people, wasn't there to see Hooker, who won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, or his impressive vaults. Few, if any, even knew who the world-class...
Former Bears GM Jerry Angelo The Favorite For The Jets GM Position?
ESPNs Adam Schefter reports that the New York Jets are set to begin follow-up interviews with at least two GM candidates and he adds that former Bears GM Jerry Angelo is the guy to watch regarding their GM vacancy.
The Jets have met with a number of candidates, but they have had a hard time generating interest from some of the top candidates because of their terrible cap situation...
Phil Simms Says It Will Be Hard For Tim Tebow To Ever Be An NFL Starter
Tim Tebow is sitting in quarterback purgatory right now, not sure about his future, and unsure where he’ll end up. Many pundits wonder where Tebow will end up, and some wonder if he can ever be productive.
You can now add former Giants quarterback and CBS commentator Phil Simms to the list of those who are not sure if has what it takes.
Simms told David Letterman that “it...
New York Jets having problems finding new general manager
Try as they might, Jets can't seem to find a new GM.
Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton makes half-court shot
Safe to say it’s been a pretty busy week- and busy month overall- for Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton. Reports surfaced on Friday that Hamilton is set to interview for the vacant New York Jets offensive coordinator position sometime in the coming days, a mere two weeks after he helped the Cardinal beat Wisconsin 20-14 in the Rose Bowl. As one of the brightest young...
The New York Jets are basically begging candidates to reconsider taking their open GM job
The New York Jets have interviewed a slew of individuals for their vacant GM position. But apparently, no one wants the job.
We already know that candidates have been told that they are stuck with Rex Ryan for at least next season, but according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports that isn’t the issue for some candidates. The issues that are making candidates apprehensive about the job...
Peter Tebow Set To Deny His Brother 3 Times
Tim Tebow’s brother Peter lives in Denver, loves Jesus (according to his Twitter bio, at least, I don’t know him personally or anything) and has over 15,000 Twitter followers, because every Bill Clinton needs his Roger. When the Broncos went down to the Ravens on Saturday, Peter took to the Tweeter and did a little harmless gloating:That’s not too bad, right? A little misplaced...
Meet the Candidates: Jets Top 3 GM Choices
Still in the midst of the hiring process, the New York Jets have yet to officially announce their new general manager. With Jets fans growing impatient GWR's Thomas Mende is ready to narrow the search down to three top candidates.
Report: Jets Can’t Give GM Job Away
The Jets mess as I like to call the New York Jets organizational downfall in 2012, is still hilarious even though we have entered the off-season stage of it all.
After the Jets fired Mike Tannenbaum, it was assumed that shortly after Rex Ryan returned from his vacation there would already be a general manager in place, and the team would prepare for the 2013 season and the changes...
