It has long been rumored that the Philadelphia Eagles would sign former Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Dennis Dixon as soon as Chip Kelly was announced as their new head coach, and on Thursday it finally happened as Dixon agreed to a two-year contract. Dixon spent most of the 2012 season on the Ravens practice squad after spending four seasons with the Steelers were he started two games in 2010 and one in 2009.
