The Seahawks have yet to discover an offensive identity. Justin Forsett would like to help change that. Seattle’s running game remains a question mark, but Forsett’s 5.8 yard per carry average could be a harbinger of things to come. Sunday’s tilt against San Diego presents the third-year back with an opportunity to show coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates what he is capable of doing if provided a chance to deliver. Forsett has just 87 yards on 15 carries, but has ripped off runs of 32 and 19 yards. The work he put in during the offseason didn’t translate to success during the exhibition campaign, as the offensive line struggled with consistency and injuries, factors that have carried over into the first two games of the regular season.
