Pro Sports Daily:
The Texans have a three-game losing streak and quarterback Matt Schaub is getting a lot of national attention for all the wrong reasons – four consecutive games with a pick-six – and running back Arian Foster talked about how he feels about the way coach Gary Kubiak has handled the situation.
“I think it shows everything about who coach Kub (Gary Kubiak) is” Foster said. “He’s a player’s coach. He has our back and when a coach does that you have to show up for him.
“I’ve felt that way (because) he’s stuck up for me. I feel like I owe him a lot. I owe this organization a lot because they gave me a chance. That’s the kind of organization we have here.”
Inside linebacker Brian Cushing supported Kubiak’s decision to stick with Schaub.
“When you look at Matt’s body of work a lot more positive than negative” Cushing said. “Matt’s played very good football for a bunch of years now and he’s been an extremely consistent starter and the leader of this team for a while now.

Ian Raopoport of the NFL Network reported at half time of tonight’s Giants-Bears game that Texans quarterback Matt Schaub will be on a short leash this week with all of the turnovers he’s committed over the past few weeks.
Also from @RapSheet: Texans won’t hesitate to yank Schaub if the turnovers continue because it’s “simply not fair to the rest of the team.”
The Houston Texans are mired in their roughest stretch in almost two seasons, greatly because of some poor play from quarterback Matt Schaub.
Though coach Gary Kubiak called it a "tough decision," he plans to stick with Schaub as the Texans try to avoid a fourth straight loss Sunday against the visiting St. Louis Rams.

Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub has a short leash this week and a stern message from his head coach.
NFL.com Insider Ian Rapoport reported on NFL Network’s “NFL GameDay Morning” that the Houston Texans starting quarterback would be benched if his troubles continue Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.
Texans sources have confirmed that Schaub’s job is at risk...
While Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak left Matt Schaub as his quarterback he did admit it was a tough choice.
With backup T.J. Yates being a relative unknown, the Texans are opting to go with Schaub as the Week 6 starter. Coming off three consecutive losses the Texans are hoping to get Schaub pointed in the right direction this week.
Should he struggle against...
If you are expecting to see the Houston Texans start to crack under the pressure created from a disappointing start to the season you will have to keep waiting. As rough as the first five games have been the team knows how long the season is and that there is no time for panic.
Since they are not busy panicking running back Arian Foster has the time to video bomb his teammate...
Texans QB Matt Schaub left Sunday's game against the Rams with a right leg injury.Fantasy Spin:Backup T.J. Yates promptly came in and threw a pick-six. It's been that kind of season for Houston. We should have an update on Schaub's status shortly.
The Houston Texans are having a very bad season. Matt Schaub has taken the majority of the fan criticism due to his poor play. Texans fans have even allegedly shown up at his house (which is terrible) to show their feelings. Today he was injured and had to leave the game. Texans fans cheered in a show of no class at all. It is never ok to cheer for an injury but esepecially you own...
Because Matt Schaub left the blowout against the Rams with an injury, it’s the team’s pick-six streak that is extended instead of his own. Nevertheless, T.J. Yates joins the Houston pick-six party. Good thing nobody owns his jersey so it’s safe from burnination.
Matt Schaub went down with an ankle injury during Sunday’s Texans-Rams game in Houston and T.J. Yates came in to replace him. Yates then proceeded to do his best impression of Schaub by throwing a terrible pick-six inside the red zone. That’s six straight games with an interception returned for a TD against Houston quarterbacks this season. Yikes.
The post T.J. Yates does his...
Is it the possible ending of Matt Schaub’s career in Houston if he cannot get the job done on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams? The recent play of Schaub has the Houston Texans on the brink of having their 2013 season head in the wrong direction. The team is headed back to Reliant to try to end a three game losing streak.
There are plenty of storylines heading into this game...
Members of the Houston Texans are not happy with fans who cheered an injury to quarterback Matt Schaub on Sunday. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph was not amused. “They gonna do that, don’t show the f*ck up” said the 29-year-old veteran following the Texans 38-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams. Johnathan Joseph on cheering Schaub injury: “They gonna do that, don’t show the f*ck...
The Houston Texans fell to 2-4 against the St. Louis Rams in stunning fashion. Although Matt Schaub played reasonably well before being knocked out of the game with an ankle injury. Then, T.J. Yates entered the game, and the Texans still weren't able to make their situation any better, ultimately losing 38 to just 13.
In past losses, the Texans have been able to point to...
Poor Matt Schaub. Everyone’s been talking about how terrible he is and pestering him about it all. He was going to lose it sooner or later. As of post time, Schaub’s having a relatively okay game against the St. Louis Rams but the Texans are still struggling. And, thus, did Schaub snap. After a play, with William Hayes looming over him, Schaub decided enough was enough and latched...
Andre Johnson and Brian Cushing ripped Houston Texans fans for cheering when quarterback Matt Schaub went down with a lower leg injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s 38-13 blowout loss to the St. Louis Rams. Schaub was sacked by Chris Long late in the third quarter and had his ankle bent awkwardly as he […]
Matt Schaub’s week might get a bit more frustrating with this bit of news.
The Houston Texans are reporting that Andre Johnson is suffering from a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice on Wednesday and most of Thursday according to the Texans.
RT @DoughertyDrew: Kubiak: WR Andre Johnson missed the bulk of practice, will likely be a game-time decision. #Texans
