Baltimore Sun:
Ravens cornerback Domonique Foxworth isn’t optimistic about a new collective bargaining agreement getting reached by the end of the week, calling the NFL owners’ latest stance “disrespectful.”
One of the major obstacles in the NFL labor negotiations is the players union’s desire to see a team-by-team financial breakdown and the owner’s unwillingness to do so.
The deadline for a new collective bargaining agreement is tomorrow.
“Things haven’t been great,” Foxworth said when asked about the tone of the current negotiations. “They want to evaluate a billion dollar decision based on two numbers. It’s really hard to say with any certainty that anything positive will happen in the next couple of days.”
