Baltimore Sun:
Ravens cornerback Domonique Foxworth expressed his disappointment at the abrupt cancellation of Thursday's negotiating meeting between the NFL and the players union.
Foxworth is an NFLPA National executive committee member.
”I was at the NFLPA and NFL meetings and am sorely disappointed that [Thursday's] meetings were canceled,” Foxworth tweeted on Thursday.
“I can PROMISE you that NFLPA is trying every avenue to bring you football next year. #letusplay or at least #letustalk,” he added on his Twitter account.
The collapse in talks between the sides has come as a surprise. There are just three weeks to go before the collective bargaining agreement expires on March 3.
