Francessa talks to Heyman about the Mets!

I kind of hard not to laugh at Mike Francessa. He always has the answers for the Mets. As everyone knows, he wants the Mets to break up the core of this team. He wants the Mets to trade either Jose Reyes who led the NL in hits, David Wright who just career highs in RBI's and HR's.

He spoke to Jon Heyman (SI.com) about this and other Mets topics on this is what he had to say:

1) He does believe that the Mets have to make a big splash this off-season.

2) He does not believe that Minaya will break up the core of the team.

3) Mets are sick of their catching situation and they might pursue Jason Varitek.

4) He believes the Mets will execute the team option on Delgado..

5) Francessa mentioned that Ryan Church does not like it here. He said he does not like the city and he does not like the team. Heyman responded that they might look to move him because he is not a fit.

6) Angels might not resign K-Rod because they want to offer contracts to Teixeira and Sabathia.
Heyman said that he believes the Mets will make a push and if they don't get K-Rod they will look at Fuentes..

7) According to previous Francessa interview with Omar Minaya, Minaya said that they asked about Manny Ramirez at the trade deadline, but the Red Sox were looking for a outfielder to replace Ramirez which they did not have.

Francessa insisted to tell Heyman that he is love with Ramirez and said he believe's the Mets will try to get him this offseason because he could not get him at the deadline..
