Getty Images According to Steve Kim of MaxBoxing.com, San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore will carry Nonito Donaire’s World Boxing Organization championship belt into the ring for him before his match against Jeffrey Mathebula on Saturday July 7th. Donaire will face off against Mathebula at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.  The fight will be for both the WBO and IBF super bantamweight titles. Gore became friends with Donaire while training with his speed coach Remi Korchemny about six weeks ago, per CSNBayArea.com. I guess this gives Gore another way to kill time before training camp begins later this month.
