After suffering a torn Achilles last season, Redskins tight end Fred Davis looks like he’s regained his speed and explosiveness, according to the Washington Post.
Six days of practice in, Davis appears to have recaptured his speed and explosiveness. He has run routes without limitation and gotten open, beating coverage by linebackers and safeties.
Redskins rookie safety Bacarri Rambo has been impressed with Davis’ speed.
“He has quickness. He’s a very athletic tight end. He knows how to separate himself and run routes in tight coverage and get the ball,” said Rambo. “He’s competitive. He makes me a better player covering him. We’ll be out there competing. I enjoy him being out there. He brings the best out of me.”

Besides Robert Griffin III, the biggest, most well-known athlete in the Washington D.C. area has to be Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper, right? Well, if he is so popular, why don’t RG3′s teammates know who he is? I get some athletes just don’t watch sports, but I struggle to believe that a quite a few Redskins players struggled to put a name to the face of Harper when...
The late, great, Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor will be featured in the upcoming video game, Madden 25 as one of the Top 25 players in Madden history. Taylor, who was tragically gunned down in his home in Nov. 2007, made the list that celebrates 25 years of the Madden franchise by selecting the “greatest [...]
You know you've hit the big time when you get a menu item at a local restaurant named after you.
Now Robert Griffin III can officially say he is somebody after the Metro Grill in Richmond, Virginia named a monstrous burger after the Washington Redskins quarterback.
The RG3 Burger isn't just any ordinary burger. According to the Washington Post, this behemoth on a bun consists...
I discussed Marvin Burdette last week in my article covering the 10 players most likely to shine this preseason. Now I take a closer look at the Redskins' linebacker.Marvin Burdette loves contact. That is the first impression I got from watching video of him.The second is that he makes correctable mistakes. The inside linebacker, who led the entire NCAA in tackles per game last...
I don’t know much about Ryan Kerrigan aside from the fact that he’s a linebacker for the Washington Redskins, but I do know an amazing acting performance when I see one. Here’s Kerrigan straight murdering (the good kind, not the Aaron Hernandez kind) his role as the sun in a commercial for a DC-area window company. Just a brilliant performance.
I think I speak for everybody...
After practice Wednesday morning quarterback Robert Griffin III went out of his way to spend some quality time with one of the Redskins’ biggest fans, 99-year-old Georgia Poole. Poole, who proclaims herself to be the Redskins’ biggest and oldest fan had high hopes of meeting the star quarterback and even joked with him about his injuries last season. RG3 who was evidently...

Robert Griffin III is getting more work at Washington Redskins training camp.
Coach Mike Shanahan said the quarterback had about ''16 or 17'' snaps Wednesday during 7-on-7 drills.
That's an increase from eight snaps the first few days and 10 snaps the next few days as Griffin works back into shape following reconstructive knee surgery.
Griffin got the extra...
Fans of Washington Redskins superstar Robert Griffin III can now eat an amazing-looking, gut-wrenching (literally) RG3 burger in his honor in Richmond, Va.
Ryan Kerrigan is a budding star. Forget about punishing his body as a linebacker for the Redskins, Kerrigan is a friggin’ thespian prodigy!…
You know you've made it when they start naming food after you. After just one season in the NFL the quarterback of the Washington Redskins, Robert Griffin III, well--he has made it. Not only does the man have some food named after him, but it is a monster of a burger.
The kind of thing to make a fat guy eye's go as wide as an eight-year old's on Christmas morning....
After sitting through an entire offseason, the NFL season is finally here as teams reported to training camp last week. Just as we saw last year with guys like Andrew Luck, Russell Westbrook and Redskins teammates, Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris, we’re expecting a few guys to establish themselves as the potential best of [...]
Previously, we were simultaneously amused and a bit frightened by Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan’s “star turn” (zing) as the sun in a commercial for regional window outfit, Thompson Creek Window Company. Apparently, this Thompson Creek Window Company has cornered the market on retaining the services of players from NFL teams in the region […]The post Like...
