The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that long time running back Fred Taylor will be inducted in to the team’s Ring of Honor this season. The ceremony will take place on September 30 when the team hosts the Cincinnati Bengals. Taylor finished his career as a member of the New England Patriots but will always be remembered as a member of the Jaguars. When he decided to hand up the cleats for good last season, he signed a one-day contract with the Jaguars in order to retire as a member of the team. Taylor finished his career with 11,695 yards but during his career, he struggled with injuries. Taylor just started all 16 games twice in his career. Seven times he rushed for over 1,000 yards and his best season came in 2003, rushing for 1,572 yards. He currently ranks 15th overall in career NFL rushing yards.
