Having already met with free agent safety Brandon Meriweather, the Denver Broncos will now host another safety.  The team is going to have Cleveland Browns defensive back Mike Adams in for a visit, per Adams.

Headed to arpt clev fans.. Unfortunately not to clev…i will visit DENVER….

Safety has been an area of need for Denver and the team is looking to sign at least one defensive back during the free agency signing period, despite drafting two rookie safeties last April.  Adams is an eighth-year veteran who has spent his entire career with the Browns.

Last season in Cleveland, Adams started in all sixteen games and recorded 64 tackles, a forced fumble and three interceptions.  With 398 career tackles, Adams would add depth and experience to Denver’s secondary as a sure-tackler.

Adams, 30, measures up and weighs in at 5-11, 200 pounds and played collegiate football at Delaware.
