Browns wide receiver/return man Joshua Cribbs is drawing interest from four teams in NFL free agency, according to The Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot. 4 teams interested in #browns Josh Cribbs so far, per source. — Mary Kay Cabot (@MaryKayCabot) March 9, 2013 Given Cribbs’s desire for a greater role in the offense the last few years and the drafting of lightning-quick wide receiver Travis Benjamin, many believe that Cribbs is not expected back in orange and brown. Last season, Cribbs caught 7 passes for 63 yards and carried the ball 6 times for 42 yards. He did not score a touchdown last season, but he did break four kick or punt returns 40 yards or more. For his career, Cribbs in eight seasons has 1,161 yards receiving, 753 yards rushing, and 20 total touchdowns (11 via the return game). Cribbs signed as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State in 2005, and was instantly a fan favorite. Cribbs shares the record with Leon Washington for most career kickoff returns for touchdowns with 8 and is one of the handful to have two in the same game (Kansas City – 2009).
