One of the tight ends the Seahawks brought in for a visit, Jacob Tamme, is now off the market after signing a three year, $9 million contract with the Broncos.  Denver is an ideal situation for Tamme, as it reunites him with his former quarterback Peyton Manning.  The other tight end we know Seattle is considering, Visanthe Shiancoe, is still available.

Since the Seahawks are shopping for a backup running back, it bears mentioning that there are signs that the Panthers are interested in trading Jonathan Stewart.  Carolina recently signed Mike Tolbert and still has DeAngelo Williams under contract, so the team may decide they'd rather get something in return for Stewart now instead of competing to re-sign him when his rookie contract is finally up at the end of the 2012 season.  Stewart has had some injury problems, but he's a hard, pounding runner who is no stranger to sharing the backfield workload, so he would be an attractive backup for Marshawn Lynch.  Granted, the Seahawks would have to negotiate a new contract with him to keep him beyond next season, but they've been willing to trade for players with one year left in the past (Leon Washington, for starters) and he's only scheduled to make $1.3 million in 2012, which wouldn't hurt the team's cap space any.

Free agency is definitely cooling off, but if more updates come in I'll be sure to add them.
