Vikings Now:
Never got around to it. But, a few weeks ago, I spoke to former Green Bay Packers receiver Antonio Freeman, who worked with Percy Harvin before the NFL Draft.
Specifically, Freeman helped Harvin with his route-running, something he was happy to do since they share the same agent, Joel Segal.
Anyways, I also talked to Freeman about Brett Favre.
We had an interesting chat. He doesn't begrudge Favre for wanting to still play.
"He wants to play football. I understand it. (Shoot), if they called me today, 'We'll offer you $2 million to be a slot receiver,' I'd do it," Freeman said. "This is what we are. We're football players. We're not firemen, or real estate developers. We're football players. As long as he can continue his dream, I'm all for it.
"It's unfortunate how it went down with Green Bay. But it's the business side of it."
