Something weird is going on in Philly.
On Thursday quarterback Mike Vick declared himself to be out for Sunday against the Cowboys due to a hamstring injury suffered 12 days ago. On Friday however the team officially called him questionable.
So how can Vick be 50-50 to play (which is what questionable means) if he says he’s out?

When will he be back? He has no idea.

Eagles QB Michael Vick’s hamstring issue is the type of injury that can be “milked” because it’s an injury that mainly depends on the word of the player as opposed to any medical imaging (with the exception of a tear).

RGIII knows that defenders love to hit the quarterback and he is a target out there. He drew two personal foul calls on Barry Church on Sunday and now he is admitting that he uses tactics to draw personal fouls on defenders: “There will be situations, and that’s why guys don’t want to pull up,” Griffin said. “It’s happened in the past with Michael Vick or someone like...

Philadelphia Eagles fans will be seeing Nick Foles take the role as quarterback for his second start of the season as Michael Vick announced he would not start Week seven.
“No, I’m not playing this week,” Vick said. “Not this week,” he simply says.
During a game against the New York Giants, Vick pulled a hamstring during the first half of the game. He did not participate...
It became evident earlier this week that Nick Foles would be the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback when they take on the Dallas Cowboys this weekend. It’s not clear how much time, if any, Michael Vick will miss beyond the Dallas game, but he told reporters — including Reuben Frank of CSN Philly — that the hamstring injury that’s sidelined him is worse than he initially thought...

I just can’t rush it.” Vick

Nick Foles is better than Michael Vick. I had a suspicion that Chip Kelly’s offense was making a washed up Vick look better than he was and I’m more convinced of that now that he made Nick Foles look even better than Vick looked. He completed 22 of 31 for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns against an actually solid Tampa Bay defense. The Eagles have essentially...
Entering the week, it was unclear how much time Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick would have to miss due to his hamstring injury. The ailment caused him to miss the team’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it sounds like Vick could again be sidelined for the Eagles’ pivotal Week 7 contest against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles have yet to make an official...
