Inside The Panthers:
The Panthers pulled back a bit Friday morning, perhaps so they'd have something left for Saturday's Fan Fest scrimmage at Bank of America Stadium. They were schedule to go in full pads this morning, but were in shorts and shoulder pads instead. Tonight will probably be lighter than that, since they're hoping to get some actual work in when they get back to Charlotte. The scrimmage is a 36-play affair, split into 12-play segments. The ones will go against the twos, then vice versa, before whatever's left takes the third period. Coach John Fox laughed and said the "whatever's left," is going to look a lot like the second teams.
