Found January 22, 2012 on State of the Texans:

We have opened the vault and gone all the way back to March 10th 2011 before the NFL lockout to place. You can hear Mike, Aaron and Pat before the lockout and the Texans season began to see what was on their minds.

Look for vault episodes later this week and next week.

Enjoy

Will Texans let Williams walk?

The Texans' defense didn't miss a step without its star Mario Williams, so much so that the team may let the former number one overall pick hit the market this offseason.

2012 NFL Draft: Houston Texans Edition – Part 2

Yesterday I delved into the possibility of the Houston Texans pursuing a NT in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft. However, that was pure speculation as my best guess would be that the Texans would draft a wide-receiver in the first round. The need for a receiver to compliment Andre Johnson was made glaringly clear this past season. WR Jacoby Jones, who has become public enemy...

Should the Texans Resign Mario Williams?

Should the Texans Resign Mario Williams?  The answer to this question depends on how much Williams will want and for how long.  If Williams wants top dollar, the Texans would be better off letting Williams walk and using the money to fill other key needs on the roster. Sure, the Texans would love to resign an elite pass rusher, but Williams only played in 5 games this year and...

Tough Choices ahead for Houston Texans Front Office.

Corner Back Kareem Jackson showed improvement from year 1 to year 2, but how much does Kubiak and the staff trust him to be the true #2 CB behind Johnathan Joseph ? I don’t think the coaching staff has as much faith in Kareem Jackson as some think … [visit site to read more] Tough Choices ahead for Houston Texans Front Office. - Toro Times - Toro Times - A Houston Texans Fan...

Catching Up With Chris Brown, The Texans Super Bowl Champions Tattoo Guy

Remember Chris Brown? Sure you do. He's the supremely confident Texans fan who decided to get an irreversible reminder of a jarring lapse in judgment. As we settle in for the second half of the AFC Championship game, we turn to the Houston Press and are reminded just how jarring a lapse it was. More »

Texans @ Ravens: Observations & Musings

For Houston, the year of the “Next Man Up” is nevermore as the Texans lost 20-13 to the Baltimore Ravens in a hard fought divisional battle.   Where I was Nostradamus: “Frankly, it's tough to bet on a fifth-round rookie quarterback, going into Baltimore in his first road playoff, against a Ray Lewis-led defense that boasts a bevy of Pro Bowlers, sprinkled with some...

Should the Jaguars Pursue Mario Williams in Free Agency?

Mario Williams may have been overshadowed for the last five seasons by the fearsome Indianapolis pass-rush duo, Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis, but the quarterbacks of the AFC South no better than to ignore him. In his Monday Morning Quarterback column today, Peter King suggested that the Texans might just let Williams walk in free agency, despite GM Rick Smith recently saying...

San Francisco 49ers Special Teams Reminiscent of Houston Texans

San Francisco 49ers WR Kyle Williams, who has been returning punts in today’s game against the New York Giants, looks as if he has been studying too much Jacoby Jones footage. Williams muffed an earlier punt when it bounced off of his knee and … [visit site to read more] San Francisco 49ers Special Teams Reminiscent of Houston Texans - Toro Times - Toro Times - A Houston Texans...
