When football fans hear the term Most Valuable Player they instantly think of greatness. To name a few, legendary gridiron heroes such as Jim Brown, Y.A. Tittle, Bart Star, Dan Marino, Brett Favre, and Peyton Manning have all been honored with the distinction of being named the NFL MVP.  Although the 2011 season is still young, the stats are compiling rapidly as players came out of the gate on a record setting pace.  And because of the magnitude at which stats are being compiled this season, football fans can’t help but to wonder which player might be crowned this year’s Most Valuable.  Tom Brady and Wes Welker are getting a lot of hype out in New England.  Aaron Rodgers continues to look unstoppable in Green Bay.  Calvin Johnson is having a record setting season for Detroit.  Fred Jackson is off to a great start in Buffalo.  And Steve Smith’s career has been rejuvenated in Carolina.  But what about the Chicago Bears’ Matt Forte?  Is he quietly making a run at towards MVP season?
