Look, being a New England Patriots fan, this is the bitter, jagged pill to swallow. However, we have to give credit where credit is due. Most of the NFL can make assumptions mainly because their team can’t get anywhere near the Super Bowl, let alone win it. Eli Manning have broken Patriots hearts on two occasions, and that’s enough for us to say: “Give it up will you?”

We keep hearing Eli needs to prove himself further, really? For realz playa?

There isn’t a better judge than a Patriots fan, sorry, if your not a Pittsburgh fan, the rest of the NFL needs to sit down and be quiet. Go ahead and say Peyton is the better quarterback, we expect that, but Eli has shown he can handle clutch. Eli shows up when it most counts, in the fourth quarter when it matters.

Trust us, we have the best quarterback in the NFL in Tom Brady and Eli has beaten him twice in the big game. Yeah, Green Bay Aaron Rodgers got the number one seat in the NFL channel’s top 100, take that to the bank and cash it. Wasn’t it Eli who took the imaginary belt Rodgers who loves to playfully adorn? Rodgers is a damn good quarterback, but he doesn’t have the history or credentials of Brady and Manning.

It’s those two meetings that immortalize the two quarterbacks. Brady will always land on the losing side, but just like in boxing, in order to be great, you have to beat a great, and Manning has done just that. Once again for the pundits who will cry a river for their “QB,” stop until they get two Super Bowls. Pittsburgh can talk, they do it on a regular basis and they have a top five quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger.

Sorry, we count rings not yards, and Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers just isn't there yet, again…Sorry. So if  anyone wants to know how good Eli is, talk to a Patriots fan, we know better than anyone, Eli manning is a top five quarterback, it doesn’t matter where you put him, he’ll fit just fine.
