Found October 13, 2011 on Redskins Blog:
I get a lot of comments and emails about being the biggest, oldest, or most knowledgeable fan.  Now, I can present you with perhaps the youngest Washington Redskins fan. This morning I got an email from Lawrence Vos about his Burgundy and Gold bundle of joy: I wanted to introduce you all to my beautiful daughter Gabriella Ruby Vos who is officially one week old today (born 6 October 2011 at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield in England). Please see the attached picture to see how much or a Redskins fan Gabriella already is. When she was born she was passed to me and I was wearing a Redskins t-shirt I bought about 5 years ago. I wonder if Gabriella is the youngest Redskins fan in England? Celebrating her 1-week birthday today would be hard to beat, so for all intents and purposes, I think Gabriella wins the title.  Her father said that he’s been a die-hard Redskins fan since he was 11 years old in 1985.  Now at the age of 37, he can celebrate 26 years of loyal fandom by welcom...

Brian Orakpo Is A Man Of His Word

For those of you that don’t get to watch ESPN at work, Redskins outside linebacker Brian Orakpo appeared as a guess on ESPN’s “First Take” on September 22nd.  On the program, they discussed the upcoming matchup between Orakpo’s alma mater Texas and Oklahoma, with analyst Skip Bayless taking the Sooners in a landslide. Orakpo took exception to the prediction, and laid...

Brandyn Thompson remains upbeat despite demotion

Washington Redskins rookie cornerback Brandyn Thompson may have been demoted to the practice squad last week to make room for returning veteran Phillip Buchanon, but Thompson has maintained a positive outlook. Selected in the seventh round out of Boise State, Thompson was one of eight 2011 draft picks to make Washington’s 53-man roster when the season opened. He appeared in two...

Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has a knee injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. 2011 Week 6 Picks

This week, our beleaguered Eagles travel to DC to take on the NFC East leading Redskins. Back in August, who would’ve thought I’d be writing that sentence in mid-October? So far this season, it’s been like Bizarro NFC East, with the Eagles front office behaving like Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato in days of yore, and the Redskins plugging away and winning games. LOLskins...

Redskins RB Tim Hightower Questionable, Expected To Play

Redskins running back Tim Hightower has been limited in practice all week because of a shoulder injury, but he's expected to be active on Sunday and play against the Philadelphia Eagles. How much will he play and how many times will he carry the ball? Well, that's always questionable with Mike Shanahan. Source: Attached Thumbnails

Friday tweetbag: Talking trades, Torain and (again) Tebow

Not surprisingly, the Washington Redskins backfield mess has been the subject of a significant number of Twitter questions this week. Part of me wants to redirect all of these inquiries to @YahooNoise — he's the one guru who actually seems to like this latest Shanahan pileup — but that would not be fair to him. So I've been answering your Ryan Torain and Tim Hightower...
