The fourth annual Mayo Bowl was jam packed with Patriots stars. We had photographer Katie Shannon on hand to document the players coming in on the red carpet, as well as Matt Light, Jerod Mayo and Tedy Bruschi's enthusiastic auction. Mayo even told someone he'd come to their house to watch the Celtics if they upped their bid.
Credit goes to Katie Shannon for the photos. For more of her work chck out the web series K&A at www.karlyandalex.com and also the feature length women's lacrosse documentary at www.113days.com.

BEST OF MAXIM
No one was surprised to see Julian Edelman wind up on top of the Patriots’ pecking order with Amendola missing their Week 2 contest against the Jets but most will be surprised with 18 targets. The 6.0 YPC is wonting but that type of volume can’t be ignored. You’ll want him in your lineup as long as Amendola is injured (the timeline remains ambiguous, though it’s good to hear...
Second year New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard appeared in a Nebraska court today. Alfonso admitted to violating his probation, when he drove under the influence of alcohol in July. The sentencing hearing is set for December fifth. Dennard also must appear in court for in October for his DUI case. In February, Dennard was found guilty of assaulting...
“The composition of the Patriots’ roster is perhaps the most unique we’ve seen in Bill...
Rob Gronkowski has spent much more time on the sideline over the last calendar year than the Patriots would prefer.
The tight end missed seven games last season (including playoffs), and he has been a spectator for the first two contests of the 2013 campaign. His status for Sunday’s matchup against Tampa Bay remains unclear — Gronkowski repeatedly referred to himself as “day...
The New England Patriots have a receiving corps has looked relatively incompetent through the first two weeks of the season. With Danny Amendola possibly out for several more weeks, they could certainly use a veteran like Brandon Lloyd who has experience in their offensive system. If Lloyd hadn’t turned his attention from football to acting, […]
An estimated 300 teenagers threw a party at the house of Brian Holloway over Labor Day weekend, authorities say, causing a reported $20,000 in damage to the property of the former New England Patriots and Los Angeles Raiders left tackle.
That sentence might normally make Holloway sound like the coolest irresponsible uncle ever, except there's a catch: Holloway spends most of...
Rob Gronkowski threw out a lot of rhetoric on Wednesday afternoon as he met with the media in the locker room.
He talked about how he’s day to day, improving every day and progressing every week. The All-Pro tight end said he feels like he’s progressed since last week and that he feels “way closer than three weeks ago.”
Gronkowski would not confirm whether he will or will...
So, all of this could work out football wise for Alfonzo Dennard.
The Patriots cornerback was sentenced to a month in jail this off-season for an incident that occurred before he was drafted. Months later, he was arrested for an OUI. He finally had his hearing today, in which he admitted violating probation. The sentencing will not be until December however.
With each passing week reports will intensify regarding whether Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will play. By opting not to put Gronkowski on the reserve/physically unable to perform list which would have shut him down for six weeks of the regular season the Pats sent a strong signal that he’ll be playing before Week Six.
He has missed two games and now ESPN reports that Gronkowski...
The 2013 New England Patriots are a team already decimated by injuries, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. Now their best special teams player, one of the best in the business, will be on the sideline for a while as well.
Matthew Slater has a broken wrist and will be out 4-6 weeks. While he is very rarely used as a receiver, Slater is a team captain who excels on...
Oh, the irony of that caption
It's not uncommon for Patriots coach Bill Belichick to praise his upcoming opponents. As far as he's concerned, every team in the NFL has enough good players to win if his team doesn't play well.
Belichick continued to do that at his Monday morning conference call when asked about his next opponent: the 0-2 Tampa Bay Bucs. While most in...
Danny Amendola has torn adductor muscles, according to a report by Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer. Glazer says the Patriots’ receiver has received conflicting reports from doctors about whether or not he also has a sports hernia – an injury that would require surgery but would have him back on the field in “about a month”. Amendola reportedly sought additional opinions Sunday but...
According to Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald, Patriots receiver Danny Amendola will not undergo surgery for a sports hernia.Fantasy Spin:Amendola has torn adductor muscles, which connect the hips to the legs, but the surgery would have kept him out 4-6 weeks. The oft-injured receiver is a long shot to play Week 4 but could be back Week 5.
A video with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's face superimposed on the head of Miley Cyrus in her music video "Wrecking Ball" is making the rounds and the only word that can describe it is disturbing.
First, there was a version with Nicolas Cage's face on the twerking singer's head, now comes one with Brady in panties and what don't look like Uggs...
I don’t know what possesses people to do these things, but Tom Brady has now gotten the Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball video treatment. This video is creepy to say the least.
