On with the grades: Offense The Panthers offense managed to put up 29 points which should be enough points in this league to win any game. Double Trouble combined for 134 yards while Newton added 35 rushing yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns. In the air, Newton threw for 374 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Not a bad showing. Newton’s “pick 6″ was partially the fault of Naanee, who tipped the ball up for grabs. Nannee does not appear to be a legitimate number two receiver in this league, the Panthers desperately need Armanti Edwards to grow into that role as soon as possible. Offensive Grade: B+ Defense Yes, they allowed over 200 rushing yards. But they only allowed 14 points which should have handed the Panthers a victory.
