The Panthers are 1-5, but it feels like 1-6. On with the grades. Offense You know things just are not going your way when a defensive lineman makes an interception. Overall the Panthers offense was not terrible, but they did not do enough to win the game (obviously). The turnovers were costly and too much to ask of our young defense to make up for. The Panthers are still unable to run the ball between the tackles, and probably will not win many games until they can do so. Cam Newton continues to be the bright spot and our greatest hope, but he is beginning to show some frustration with his team. Offensive Grade: C Defense: The biggest problem on the field for the defense on Sunday was not the defensive line, but the linebackers. They were unable to shed blocks and make sound tackled. The Falcons ran on the outside with ease, raking up big yardage with little effort. With two pro bowl quality starting linebackers on IR, it seems opposing teams are taking advantage of the lack of line...
