Game Grades: Saints at Panthers

The Panthers have fought their way to a 1-4 record. On with the grades… Offense: Once again the Panthers Offense provided a reason for optimism and hope for the future in this rebuilding season. They have gone toe to toe with the league’s top offenses and have held their own. The running game continues to improve as the offensive line is now beginning to gel. I predicted 5 wins for the Panthers this season, I am sticking with that prediction, with another win coming next week. Also, of all the men to pick a fight with on the field, you probably shouldn’t choose Steve Smith. Being put on the ground on television by someone smaller than you can’t be good for your ego. Offensive Grade: B Defense: 27 points should be enough to win in this league. I don’t think it is unreasonable to ask a defense to hold a team to 24 points or less..
