Players of the game Seahawks defensive tackle Red Bryant had three solo tackles, half a sack and he became the first player in franchise history to block two field goals in a single game before being ejected in the fourth quarter of Seattle's loss. Cleveland kicker Phil Dawson made two field goals, each from 53 yards, and those two kicks made him Man of the Match in a football game with fútbol-like scoring. Play of the game Leon Washington returned a punt 81 yards for what appeared to be the go-ahead touchdown only to have it called back because of a block-in-the-back penalty against Kennard Cox. Cleveland's Kevin Dockery may have, um, embellished the impact of that block in the back, drawing the flag that nullified what would have been Washington's first touchdown of the season.
