First, the bad news.  No sacks, Lito Sheppard, Kris Jenkins and Donald Strickland are banged up, and the Titans, next week’s opponent, is 0-2 and desperate for a win (by the way, they lost today because they gave up 34 points to the Houston Texans—the guys who couldn’t score last week).   Now, for the good news:  The New York Jets had just enough offense and way too much defense for the New England Patriots today as they handed the erstwhile “best” team in the NFL a stunning defeat at the New Jersey Meadowlands defeating Tom Brady and Company, 16-9.  The Patriots’ did not score a touchdown as the New York defense held its second straight opponent without a touchdown on offense.  In fact, the Jets have faced two of the premier offenses in the league the last two weeks and they have scored 4.5 points each, on average.
