Here's the deal, males and females.

If you see someone standing outside of your house tonight, slowly hip thrusting in the direction of your TV, at approximately 8:02 PM CST tonight, wheezing softly, and developing a fine film of perspiration upon their brow, do not be alarmed. This is perfectly normal. It is, in fact, just me acting REALLY EXCITED that Vikings football is back.

So if you're not too busy out there somewhere drilling your pelvis into a soft pillow because you see some purple and gold on your television, get in the comment section and join tonight's Purple Jesus Diaries' Game Thread. We'll be watching the Vikings play football (!!!!), critiquing rookie players unfairly, ogling breasts in the San Francisco crowd, and drinking ourselves blind. It's going to be a blast!

For the first time in the 2012 NFL season for Minnesota Vikings fans, LET'S DO THIS ****!!!

Enjoy the game!
